Ashley Kim

A lover of words and storytelling, Ashley graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and is currently teaching Spanish in Southern California. Some of her favorite stories to tell include how she became a Spanish teacher and how she has picked up writing afresh at As We Dwell, not your ordinary coworking space. She’s done original reporting for GlobalPost, Arirang Korea, and WBEZ 91.5fm Chicago. Students who know her well gift Ashley with Cheez-Its and Takis. Her friends are planning to surprise her with a Sriracha fiesta one day (hint, hint). Ashley often dreams of Heaven’s library, where she hopes to see her book (in the making) and the Author of life, the Word of all words.

DTLA Arts District Space: Dwellers Work, Create and Do Life Together

As We Dwell, located in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, is not your typical coworking space. As We Dwell, which opened its...
