Marketplace Event – God’s Work and Our Work
August 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10.
The Nature of Work
We all desire for our work to be meaningful and “count” in the big picture. But we lack that sense of how our daily lives directly connect to higher purposes. Sometimes we wonder if our daily work is fulfilling a calling or passion in who we are created to be. In August we explore the truth that everyone is created “in God’s image” and that this truth suggests we have a divine imprint in our being which can find expression in what we do.
This month at our Marketplace Event, Steve Lindsey will lead the discussion as we interact on the nature of God’s “work” and how we can become more aware of and able to display His design in our own work.
GOD’S WORK AND OUR WORK
Join us Tuesday, August 15th, for a night of networking and intentional conversation as we learn how to live out our Christian faith in the workplace. Steve Lindsey (CFWLA co-founder) will be leading us through a workshop on Genesis 1 and 2. How does the story of creation impact the way each of us views our work? What is each of our individual God-given purpose? We hope you will join us in the conversation.
